Work

Currently at the Technologiestiftung Berlin as senior creative technologist working in the CityLAB project with the best team I’ve ever had the chance to work with. Looking forward to the next years with them. Also big news, I will be teaching digital basics again at the Braunschweig University of Art in the bachelors course visual communication. Totally looking forward to it.

Freelancer

(since 2008)
Besides the cooperations with Grenzfarben & Forseesense I work as a freelance designer and programmer. I’m involved in the development of youstar.io and I sell script plugins for Adobe After Effects on aescripts.com. From time to time I get hired for some programming work or motion graphics.

Forseesense & Grenzfarben

(since 2008)
While working for Mazooka was fun it still was a lot of work in sales. I decided to move on and had the luck to meet the Sebastian Matthäus and join the Grenzfarben group to produce product catalouges for the retailers like JustMusic and Sound Service. It started out as a job for one catalouge end ended in a long cooperation on catalouges in layout and prepress, the integration of our own media management software (MPO) into InDesign via Scripting and several animated short movies for exhibitions like BMW Junior-Campus, Deutsches Technikmuseum and companies like Erlebniskontor GmbH. Below is an overview of some of the videos we created for these customers.

Customers

Erlebniskontor GmbH, m.o.l.i.t.o.r GmbH, BMW Welt München, Jacobs, Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin, Klimahaus Bremerhaven, Experimenta Heilbron, Geysir Zentrum Andernach, Meyer Werft Papenburg, Welios Oberöstereich, Museum Hameln, Wortreich Bad Hersfeld, Mellow Mark (Music Video)

Selected Video Works

For all these projects the art direction was done by Sebastian Matthäus, illustration by Ina Dautier, screenplays by Ansgar Ahlers, 3D animations by Darius Poroszewski, audio by Robert Fischer or Jan Doddeman, camera on the Mellow Mark music video by Elias Frobel and 2D animations/motion graphics, character rigging, color grading, compositing by me and if time ran out with support by Sebastian Matthäus.
